MY APPROACH TO THERAPY

Real conversations.
Meaningful change.

It is often difficult to explain exactly what therapy is. I like to think of it as looking at what has scraped you up emotionally, cleaning out that wound, and then healing so you can live a healthier and happier life.

You may already know what's wrong. You may even know why. That doesn't necessarily mean you know what to do about it. I work especially well with thoughtful, curious, self-aware people who want to understand themselves and are willing to look honestly at what's happening.

My style is direct, honest, compassionate, collaborative, and real. I believe therapy is a team effort. You know your life; I know therapy. I'll listen, challenge you when needed, and sit with you through the uncomfortable parts rather than helping you avoid them.

My approach draws from attachment-based, emotion-focused, person-centered, and interpersonal therapies. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel understood, develop insight into your experiences, and begin recognizing patterns that may no longer be serving you. We'll work together to find approaches that fit your needs and goals.

“I'll call you on your crap” — with compassion, honesty, and a goal of helping you move forward.

HOW I CAN HELP

Support for the parts of life that feel hard to navigate.

Whether you’re working through your own challenges or looking for support as a parent, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Work through anxiety, trauma, relationships, self-worth, and patterns that leave you feeling stuck.

MY MISSION

You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

My mission is to help people recognize their worth, learn to be kinder to themselves, heal from past experiences, and build healthier relationships. I believe we’re all doing the best we can with what we’ve been given. Sometimes, we need someone who will listen, challenge us, and walk beside us as we figure out what comes next.
