MY APPROACH TO THERAPY
Play-based therapy.
Helping children thrive.
Children don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling or what they’ve been through. Play therapy gives them a way to express those feelings, work through challenges, and begin to heal in a way that feels natural to them.
My approach is warm, compassionate, child-centered, and strengths-based. I meet children where they are developmentally, helping them explore their feelings, build emotional regulation and coping skills, and develop confidence through play, creativity, and connection.
One of the things I love most about play therapy is the opportunity for early intervention and prevention. By helping children develop emotional regulation, coping, and social skills early on, we can address challenges before they become more difficult to manage. I enjoy working with children navigating big emotions, behavioral concerns, developmental differences, family changes, and difficulties at home, school, or with peers.
I also believe parents and caregivers are essential partners in helping children thrive. I work collaboratively with families to better understand what a child may be communicating through their behavior and identify ways to support them both in and outside of therapy. My goal is to help children feel seen, heard, and understood while giving families practical support and greater confidence in navigating challenges together.
“Behind every behavior is a child who needs to be understood."
HOW I CAN HELP
Support for emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges children face growing up.
Whether your child is struggling with big emotions, behavioral challenges, anxiety, trauma, or changes at home or school, I provide compassionate, play-based support for children ages 3–10. Therapy helps children navigate difficult experiences, develop new skills, and build confidence. I also work with caregivers to better understand their child's needs and support progress beyond the therapy room.
